Introduction
Hello, welcome back to another suggestion by me. This suggestion was inspired by a potential hint by Jasper_Rivet . Similar to the first hint I had about the class 385 a few months before it was anounced. So I thought I'd make a suggestion for it. Anyway. I've been on this line before and it's fantastic! I had my camera out for atleast 3 hours because the amazing scenery didn't stop! It was amazing! So hopefully this gets made and you can all experience this for yourselves for the small small price of £34.99. The new standard price of TSW routes. It's a good deal concidering it cost me £50 to go on it before and to experience the Jacobite service it costs hundreds of pounds for more than one person. Concidering how great rivet are with scenary now and how detailed their trains are this would be amazing and show you the best of Scotland.
The Route
Average journey time is 1hr 25mins is the route length is 30 miles (49 km). It is a good length for rivet to make a route concidering they proved they could make over 40 mile routes with the Edinburgh to Glasgow DLC. This has a few stations and lots of scenary. On this route you will also go over the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct featured in the Harry Potter films. The speed limits don't go above 60mph but it doesn't really matter because the route looks so good and there is plenty of stuff for you to do throughout the journey such as RETB.*
Rolling Stock
Class 156
Black 5 or LNER K1 with MK2 and MK3 coaches.
Stations
Mallaig
Morar
Arisaig
Beasdale (R)
Lochailort (R)
Glenfinnan
Locheilside (R)
Loch Eil Outward Bound
Corpach
Banavie
Fort William
(R)=Request Stop
Sone stations are request stops meaning the train will only stop there on request. This would be great to be simulated in this route. For example, only some services would stop at the request stop stations and other might blast right through them.
Fetures:
Anouncements
RETB
Smart PIS
Realistic Sounds
Working GSMR
Request Stops
TrainFX
There is a token system called RETB. This means the driver has to talk to the signaler and receive permission to proceed. In this case the driver would push a button to send/receive the token and you would hear the conversation. Wait for the token. And then proceed when told.
Conclusion
I think this would be a great route for TSW and I'd love to see it in the game! Please let me know your thoughts below and if your from Rivet then please concider making this.
