I love the scenario ideas TrainGeek08! That sounds like great fun to play!
I think the layers are a great idea but concidering that train layering on to other routes from this DLC would need a new livery I think those layers are unlikely to happen. But a really good suggestion all the same!

Wikipedia does mention a single track section, but I couldn't spot it in the video - did I missed it or is it double track these days?

And as usual - are there any freight services on this route?

Found the single track section: it starts from 5:05 in the video and ends at 5:11 in the video if that helps 😉

I believe some go from Aberdeen to my local area such as the paper mill near Irvine or Barassie sidings! I see alot of Class 70's running through my local line!
