Introduction
Hello! Today I am suggesting a beautiful scenic route for Train Sim World 3® that will feture one train, one track and lots of scenic stations and mountains going past Lochs, the sea, villages, towns and huge Scottish mountains! This is Train Sim World 3 ® Kyle of Lochalsh Line.
The Route
Ok. So here's the facts. The route length is 57 miles. Perfect for rivet games and only a little bit longer than Edinburgh to Glasgow. This route would have the longest services available in TSW. The average end to end service takes 2 hours 42 mins. But trust me. The driver would not get bored. There is lots of things to do. For example, There is a token system called RETB. This means the driver has to talk to the signaler and receive permission. In this case the driver would push a button to send/receive the token and you would hear the conversation. Wait for the token. And then proceed when told. This route would also feture anouncements and smart PIS. The driver at the start would enter a route code. (All route codes would be on display on a sheet of paper in the cab) and press enter. The anouncements would start along with the PIS scrolling as subtitles. The destination would show the destination you entered. Anouncements would play automatically when approaching a station. When stopped at a station. When departing a station. And when arriving at the final destination. When you first enter the route code the anouncement would also go through all the calling points on the route. The train that does all this is....
Rolling Stock
Class 158

The Class 158 is a diesel multiple-unit built by British Rail Engineering Limited. It was built in 1992 and has a top speed of 90mph. Currently 6 operators use these trains: East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway, Northern Trains, ScotRail, South Western Railway, Transport For Wales (Trafnidiaeth Cymru). ScotRail have them kitted out in Saltire Livery with 2 coaches of standard class. The chairs are some of ScotRails finest and more than adequate for a 2 hour journey. They have smart PIS inside with orange text and anouncements. There is a toilet located in the rear coach (or front depending on the service). And ramps are available to those who need it. There are automatic doors, opened using a button at the end of each coach for noise suppression and to keep the heat inside the train on cold days. They are very nice trains and I highly recommend a ride on one.

- Some stations are request stops so sometimes trains won't stop there. This would be great to simulate request stops.
