Introduction
Hello today I am suggesting a mainline route in the north of England. This route is the West Coast Mainline North from Preston to Carlisle. This is a great route with a nice variety of high speed trains available to drive.
The Route
The route is 79 miles (127km) and takes 1 Hour 15 mins to travel. It has limited calling points but has some fantastic scenary! There will be two operators on this route: Avanti West Coast and Trans Pennine Express. All the trains on this route will be going at High Speeds up to 125mph+!
Rolling Stock
Class 390/1 Pendolino

This train is known for its high speed. It's iconic for the West coast Mainline. It has a gorgeous interior with Standard Class, Standard Premium and First Class. This train is formed of 11 Coaches per unit. It has 3 safety systems. There is one new one which would be interesting to see. TPWS, AWS and TASS. The trains top speed is 140mph (225km/h) but it only ever reaches 125 mph (200km/h) in service.
Class 222 Super Voyager

The Class 222 Super Voyager is a tilting train originally built for virgin trains but later got taken over by Avanti West Coast. These trains have the best acceleration out of most of the high speed trains in the UK. They are Desil multiple units and have a top speed of 125 mph (200km/h) and have some very nice standard class and first class on board. One thing I'd like to note about these trains is that the horn is extremely loud outside the train so it would be great if we got that simulated.
Class 802

The Class 802 is an electric multiple unit part of the Class 800 family. These trains are known for high speed and are loved by all the operators for its comfort and high speed. Having this train in the game would be a great start to having potentially all of the 80x trains in the game.
P.S: If rivet don't want to do 3 trains then I'd recommend the Class 390 and Class 802.
P.S.S: If push comes to shove and there can only be one train made for it then I'd love to have the class 390.
Stations
Preston
Lancaster Oxenholme Lake District
Penrith (North Lakes)
Carlisle
As this is the WCML their is not many stations but plenty of high speed and amazing scenery throughout the journey.
Conclusion
Personally I think this is a fantastic route and I would love it if it could come to TSW. Brilliant scenary. Brilliant trains. What more could you want? This is a much requested route and would be great to see in the game. I think rivet games could do a good job with this because their scenary is pretty good and their brilliant and doing trains as long as they can record the sounds for them. This route could be the starting point for extensions so that we can eventually have the entire west coast Mainline.
Thanks for reading this. Please let me know your thoughts below and if your from rivet then I'd love to see this in the game. Thank you and have a nice day! 🙂
