ID:	5270 Class 171 diesel hydraulic multiple unit. These Turbostar units are occasionally serve the route as well as the Marshlink line which can eventually be reached beyond Eastbourne. These units differ from other Turbostars due to the different coupling equipment.

    Class 73 electro diesel locomotive. These locomotives are occasionally known to use the Brighton Mainline on crew training runs and other work. Earlier still, they were the motive power for the Gatwick Express.

    Class 455/8 750v dc electric multiple unit. This was one of 3 versions of the class (with /7 & /9) built by BREL. They are often found on suburban services around the London end of the Brighton Mainline.

    Class 466 750v dc electric multiple unit. These are 2 car variants of the Networker family that can of be seen in parts of Kent both alone and in multiple with Class 465.

    Class 59/0 diesel electric locomotive. These were the original American imported locomotives acquired by Foster Yeoman for their heavy ston trains. This example is now operated by GBRF and can be seen in various locations just as their Class 66 relatives.

      I love the Class 70, though I think it would be better suited in a new route rather than as an add-on, especially as freight on SEHS doesn't go far, layered in to SEHS would be great though
