  • A New Place For My Media

So I did a thread like this on the Dovetail Forums which if you wanna check it out then here's a link: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/thr...y-media.62233/ But I will continue to make media there but I'll also be putting them here as well. First media potentially coming very early tommorow for Comet E3 aka a once in a lifetime event. Update: Didn't see it. I overslept past multiple alarms cuz I didn't have good sleep before hand

Oh that's an awesome idea, thanks a lot for sharing the images! I attached of photo of the old narrow gauge routes here (which run every day on a schedule!).

Might wanna rename the chat to be something like "Railway Enthusiats Photographs" or something like it?

Jasper_Rivet It must be nice seeing steam trains running about everyday. Closest thing we have to that is The Jacobite! It would definitely show off a feel of what it would be like in those days over here.

Actually, we have three of these daily running steam lines here (2 close to Dresden, one not so much). And then there's the "Harzer Schmalspurbahn", another narrow gauge railway that famously climbs up to the Brocken mountain. Pretty cool! 👀

I might however I though the concept I had is on DTG's forums where you post media. I hit the 50mb limit so I made a thread called A Place For My Media and seeing as I'm a new member to the rivet forums so I decided to make a thread here for Rivet Forums Exclusive members. Also that's a really nice photo!

A little message to Nathan and everyone else who sees this. I do have a couple of photo sessions coming up in the next few weeks and also haven't announced here yet but I will be going to Swanage Railway for the Spring Steam Gala at the end of march so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Thanks Nathan! It's rare I can get out for things like this because it can be sunny in the day but them at night there might as well be an entire storm for its worth.

We got Snow! Last night on the Weather it said there was supposed to be almost 3 days of snow. However I struggled to believe it as they've been saying it since November by this point. However it's better late than never. Roll the photos! Actually before we get into this, later at 11:50 there will (providing its not cancelled) be a British Pullman hauled by 67005 in the snow. Stay tuned. Anyway let's actually get into the photos.

Jasper_Rivet last year I remember it being decently hot in March as on the 24th I was out to see the Flying Scotsman and I could not stop sweating.

It has been -5°c this morning but no snow. Just a bunch of frost that clears quite quickly.

Wow! I believe the Midland Pullman is Comming to my local station soon. I got a letter in the post about it. I look forward to seeing it! Hopefully it isn't quite as cold as it was for you yesterday when I see it.

Nathan You can just see the frost covering the door on the 159 in the last photo. I was just super lucky to not run out of battery. Back in 2021 I popped out twice to see 44871(didn't see it on those dates) however I remember both time my camera was on abot 50% and somehow in the 10 minutes I was there the battery had died. Although when I turned it on when I came home it still had over 20%. my battery cannot handle cold weather when you want it to.
                Working...
