  • 🎨 Your poster in our Class 150/2 for Penzance!

    Hi folks,

as you may know, we're working on the Class 150/2 for our upcoming West Cornwall Local: Penzance to St. Austell & St. Ives route add-on for Train Sim World. We're thinking about how we could involve our community in the development. And since we have adverts posters in this train, we thought it would be cool if you guys created the designs for them.

What you need to know if you want to have your design in our Class 150/2:
    • To make it easy for everyone to participate, we want you to create a draft of what the poster is going to look like. Our graphic designers will then finish your design.
    • You can (and should) use the templates attached to this forum post to match the dimensions of the actual poster in the train. You can find the templates here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...4S?usp=sharing
    • Create your design! 😄
    • Send us your result: Upload it to any cloud service you like and post the link here. Or use WeTransfer: https://wetransfer.com/
    • Deadline is the 8th of September 2021.

IMPORTANT: Please respect copyright rules! All the created materials have to be created by yourself. We can't use actual company adverts for licensing reasons (for example we couldn't use a Coca Cola advert).

    Happy creating! 🎨

What do you have to consider, what are the rules?

Looks pretty cool! I'm sorry, but I have to ask: Where did you get the image in the background?

i just went to Google images. more than happy to replace it with an image of outside pretending to be a Glen if it is causing issues with licensing & whatnot

Hello, I created a poster in collaboration with The British Ace, which depicts a Class 150 travelling alongside the beach, and in the distance, you can see St Ives. It's an original drawing so all the elements are transferable and royalty-free. I personally think that you could add some text at the bottom, but I decided to leave that to you, in case you like it. Also, I added an oil-painting filter that we could always get rid of, but the idea was to give the poster a nostalgic vibe.

    Here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_Y4...ew?usp=sharing

    Kind regards,
    Amanda Silva

Great thanks for everything we received so far, amazing what you guys created! 😍

For those who haven't contributed yet, but would like to do so: You don't need to hand in a finished design, if you're not familiar with creating a poster, you can simply describe how your poster should look like. We'll finish it for you then. 😀

Hey folks, thanks again for the great work you guys send us, we're stunned!

          IMPORTANT:
If you submitted a design, please check your inbox if you received a message from me - we need to setup a little bit of legal stuff (don't worry, it's not like buying a house or something 😅).

          Thanks!
