Winding through the beautiful Alpine Inn valley, our Engadin Line is coming soon to Train Simulator!

The Engadin (literally “Valley of the Inn people”) Linie leads North East through the beautiful regions of Upper and Lower Engadin, following the Inn river for 57 km. The first section comprises the Samedan to Pontresina railway which was built as a link between the Albula and the Bernina lines. It follows the wide valleys around Samedan, before climbing steep hills in the narrow valleys between Cinuos-chel-Brail and the endpoint at Scuol-Tarasp.

With its iconic stations and infrastructure buildings along a stunningly beautiful route, the Engadin Linie is always worth a visit. Climb on board the RhB GE 6/6 II locomotive and serve the 17 stations along the Engadin Linie, which is coming soon to Train Simulator!

    Pre-order the route here: https://www.rivet-games.com/product/...-tarasp-route/

Excellent news to see this come to life!

One question (out of curiousity): Is the St. Moritz area included? If not, then it would be nice to see it in a merge route on the Steam Workshop.

      Very good news !
as i asked on the other forum, are you planning to join the verena tunnel also ? Only 19kms of tunnel, no decors except the klosters station and the shuttle service... this should be really nice and innovative...
because for customers who alrezdy have rhb enhancement pack, there won’t be new trains with that Line..

Express1217 No, St. Moritz isn't included in the route. And I'm not sure, but I would guess that the starting coordinates (important for merging) are the same.

Mecanobob Sorry, didn't spotted it yet! But no, the Vereina tunnel isn't included with the route (only the beginning).
Customers who bought the RhB Enhancement Pack 04 will receive a discount code for the route! Together with the launch sale, I find the price very attractive.

Jasper_Rivet I believe Alan used Bever as the starting coordinates for the Albula Line and Bernina Pass. And since the Engadin Line shares some track with those, it seems logical that it uses the same starting coordinates.

Also, in order to get the discount code, does it matter whether you bought RhB Enhancement Pack 04 through Steam or the Rivet Store?

            Hello ,
In real, the line between Samedan and Bever has been doubled, is that on the Engadin Line too?

Express1217 Yes, there will be a bundle available on Steam, that gives you extra 20% off. And if you bought it on the Rivet Store, you already received a discount key.

Rapin Yes, the route features the full Engadin Line from Pontresina to Scuol-Tarasp, Samedan and Bever are in it.

Jasper_Rivet Okay, that sounds good. To compensate Steam buyers (like me), does that mean the launch discount also happens there?

Rapin I don't think it will be doubled, since part of the route is probably a copy/paste from the Bernina Pass. And on that route it was still single track. But I'd love to see it being doubled at some point, along with the area around Poschiavo.

Yeah, the launch code will also apply on Steam. But not forever.

Can't wait for this release already pre-order my copy and soon as i saw what rolling stock came with the route "and i already owned through Rivet Games" i contact Colin which was very helpful and have send me a Code for another 20% discount all in all the price was very very good happy costumer here, the other thing i wanted to ask but some one already asked above was the Merge route with Bernina Line and Bernina Pass and Albula Line and Bernina Express by "Thomson Interactive" i do assume the same Log and Lat would have been the same if so this is possible and would be nice to get the Merge done thanks for all the hard work into brilliant content for Train Simulator Rivet Games 👏👏👏👏👏

                    Hello,

ooh... i hoped for this tunnel as it should not be a hard wokr to do and as it allows to make a junction with the heidi express line and therefor imagine playing full rhb trains with changing lines...

perhaps you can think a new Time about it ?

Sorry to disappoint you, but there's nothing planned for the Vereina tunnel at the moment. :/

                    Hello

Good news for this route, ah these little red trains, I love them !!!

The link to see the line in real:

On the video of elsewhere we see the doubling of the line between Samedan and Bever put into service in March 2020

On the other hand a pity not to have the vereina tunnel and the pilot car to drive in reversibility.

For the next extensions to Landquart, take the same starting coordinates! 😁😁

I am really happy to see that Line arriving even if there is not the vereina tunnel or new trains...

i really hope no bugs just like doors opening on the wrong side (like on surselva Line for instance...).
but i’m sure bêta testing will Check all that points !

Hi, if I am not mistaken, the latest screenshot posted on twitter seems to depict a part of the Vereina tunnel. Have the devs changed their mind about its inclusion?

BigDawgKS Natbenj this is indeed the Vereina Tunnel, whose initial section is included as previously announced.
